Earlier today we exclusively reported about Micromax launching an ultra low-cost smartphone called as Micromax Bolt Q383 priced at Rs. 4,171. Now, the domestic smartphone maker, Lava has launched a dirt cheap smartphone named as Lava A52 in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 3,599 and will be available for purchase via all the leading offline platforms across the country. The smartphone comes with basic features and will be targeted towards the low-category users.

Talking about the smartphone, the Lava A52 features a 4-inch (800×480 pixels) WVGA IPS display with 233ppi as pixel density and comes powered by unknown dual-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz clubbed with 512MB of RAM. With this low-end chipset and lesser availability of RAM, we cannot expect the smooth performance of the smartphone. It has dual sim dual standby support and includes connectivity options like 2G/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB 2.0 port.
The handset comes backed by a 1200mAh battery that is underpowered and cannot last for an entire day on single charge. It has 4GB of internal storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion of memory upto 32GB. The smartphone sports a 2MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing shooter for selfie clicks. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based company’s customized UI out of the box. The dimensions of the smartphone measure 123.5 x 63 x 10.1 mm and comes in Black and Gold color variants.
A quick recap, Lava has recently launched an affordable smartphone in its Iris Fuel series called as Lava Iris Fuel F2 in India priced at Rs. 4,444 and is available for purchase via offline retailers across the country.
