Today, Lava has launched a new battery focused smartphone called as Lava Iris Fuel F1. The smartphone will be available in colors- Black, White priced at Rs. 7,849 and is available for purchase via online and offline channels across the country.
The Iris Fuel F1 is the successor to the Iris Fuel F1 Mini an entry-level smartphone that launched last month. The device features a 5-inch (480×854 pixels) FWVGA IPS display with 196ppi as pixel density and comes powered by a MediaTek MTK6580 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It comes with 2GB RAM, 8GB built-in storage and can be expanded via a microSD card slot upto 32GB.
On the camera cordon, it features an 8MP rear autofocus camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing shooter for video calling and selfie clicks. The dual sim capable Iris Fuel F1 comes with basic connectivity options like 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS?A-GPS and a microUSB port.
The main highlight of the Iris Fuel F1 is the large 4000mAh battery that is rated to deliver upto 30 hours of talk time and upto 20 days of standby time. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The dimensions of the handset measure 141 x 72 x 9.5 mm and weighs around 148 grams.
The Lava Iris Fuel F1 will have to face tough competition from the likes of Intex Aqua Power II, Karbonn Aura 9, Micromax Canvas Juice. All the three smartphones not only come with a similar battery but also sports slightly better specifications when compared to Iris Fuel F1.
