The domestic smartphone maker, Lava has been launching impressive smartphones in the entry-level segment in the recent times. Recently, the company unveiled the low-end Lava P7 with competitive specifications priced at Rs. 5,499. Today, the brand has officially launched a new low-segment device called as Lava X3 in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 6,499 and is available for purchase via Flipkart, Amazon and other retailers across the country.
Coming to the specifications, the Lava X3 flaunts a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display offering 294ppi as pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 laid on top of it for protection. Under the hood, it comes equipped with MediaTek MT6582 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz accompanied with Mali-400 GPU and 2GB of RAM for lag free performance. The dual sim dual standby supported smartphone has basic connectivity options like 2G/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi and microUSB 2.0 port, but lacks 4G-LTE connectivity.
On the camera section, the smartphone sports an 8MP primary camera withLED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video chats and selfie lovers. The device comes with 8GB of built-in storage and can be further expanded using a microSD card slot. The handset comes backed by a 2500mAh battery that the company claims can easily last upto 10 hours of talk time and upto 200 hours of standby time. Its dimensions measure 144 x 72 x 8 mm weighing around 141 grams and comes in White with Silver and White with Gold color options.
A quick recap, Lava has recently launched its flagship camera-centric smartphone called as Lava V5 in India priced at Rs. 11,499. The smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with PDAF, Samsung 3M2 ISOCELL sensor and dual tone LED flash. On the front, it has an 8MP shooter with LED flash to capture stunning selfie images. The smartphone features 5.5-inch HD display, MediaTek MT6735 SoC, 3GB RAM, 16GB storage, 4G-LTE support, 3000mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
