LeEco Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2 with USB Type-C Audio Port Goes Official

LeEco (LeTV) debuted the Chinese smartphone market last year by launching three Superphones Le 1, Le 1 Pro and Le Max and has tasted huge success in very less span of time. The company has gained a lot of attention in the recent times about the launch of its next-gen Le Superphones. LeEco has today officially launched the Le 2, Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2 superphones in an event held in China. As said earlier, the smartphones do not include a 3.5mm audio jack and comes with a common USB Type-C port for both audio and charging. All the smartphones come with new CDLA (Continual Digital Lossless Audio) technology for the unmatched audio experience.

Let’s talk about the smartphones in detail:

LeEco Le 2

The LeEco Le 2 comes with 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD IPS display offering a pixel density of 401ppi. The smartphone comes equipped with Helio X20 tri-cluster deca-core processor paired with Mali-T880 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. It supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based EUI 5.5 overlaid. On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP front snapper for selfie lovers. It comes with standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 and USB Type-C port. It features an all-metal unibody design and also includes a fingerprint sensor for enhanced security. A 3000mAh battery backs the handset and also supports fast charging technology.

LeEco Le 2 Pro

The LeEco Le 2 Pro is the slightly upgraded variant of the Le 2 smartphone. It features same 5.5-inch full-HD display and comes powered by all-new MediaTek Helio X25 deca-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz clubbed with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM and 32GB as its internal storage option. The design of the device is similar to Le 2, and also includes a fingerprint sensor at the back of the unit that is pretty fast and secure. The smartphone features a 21MP primary camera with Sony IMX230 sensor, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and an 8MP front camera for amazing selfie images. It powers a similar 3000mAh battery with Quick Charging support and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based EMUI 5.5 out of the box.

Le Max 2

The Le Max 2 comes with an all-metal body and also includes Qualcomm’s Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that is blazingly fast and highly secured. It is the first smartphone to come with Qualcomm Ultrasonic fingerprint technology. It flaunts a 5.7-inch (2560×1440 pixels) 2K Super Retina display that offers a pixel density of 515ppi and is best suited for VR experience. Under the hood, it packs Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor clocked at 2.1GHz clubbed with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB/6GB of RAM. The Le Max 2 is one among the very few smartphones to come with whopping 6GB 0f RAM. It has 64GB of built-in storage and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based EUI 5.5 laid on top. It supports dual sim dual standby and includes similar connectivity options like the Le 2 & Le 2 Pro. On the photographic section, the smartphone features a 21MP rear camera with OIS, PDAF, 6P lenses, dual-tone LED flash and an 8MP front shooter for stunning selfie images. The handset packs a 3100mAh battery and supports Qualcomm’s latest Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

The LeEco Le 2 is priced at 1099 Yuan (approx $170), Le 2 Pro is priced at 1499 Yuan (approx $232) and the Le Max 2 costs 2099 Yuan (approx $324) for the 4GB RAM version while the 6GB RAM variant costs 2499 Yuan (approx $386). All the smartphones are currently available for pre-orders on company’s official website and will go on sale starting April 26th.
