LeEco Le X820 (Le Max 2) with 6GB of RAM Listed on GFXBench, to Launch on April 20th

LeEco has been gathering a lot of attention for a while now about the launch of its next-gen superphones. The company has also scheduled an event for April 20 in China where we can expect the launch of upcoming Le superphones. Today, a new smartphone from the brand with model number LeTV LeEco Le X820 has pooped on the GFXBench database and is expected to be called as Le Max 2. The listing reveals most of the important details about the upcoming smartphone. The LeEco Le Max 2 (X821) was also recently spotted on AnTuTu and Zauba India’s import/export database. As per the Zauba listing, the Le Max 2 is expected to be priced at Rs. 22,664 ($340) at the time of launch.

Le X820 GFXBench

As per the GFXBench listing, the Le X820 will come with a 5.5-inch (2560×1440 pixels) QHD 2K display and will come powered by Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor clocked at 2.1GHz clubbed with Adreno 530 GPU. The smartphone is listed with whopping 6GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage and there is no information about the inclusion of microSD card slot. The Le Max 2 is the only smartphone after Vivo XPlay 5 and Vernee Apollo to feature 6GB of RAM. Few rumors are heading that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will come with 6GB RAM. The Le Max 2 is also expected to come with 4GB RAM & 64GB storage option.

On the camera cordon, the smartphone is supposed to come equipped with 20MP primary camera with 4K video recording, LED flash, and an 8MP front shooter for stunning selfie images. It will support dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. Connectivity options on the device include 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth and IR blaster. Other possibilities of the upcoming smartphone are a full-metal body, bezel-less display, fingerprint sensor and USB Type-C port. At this time, we cannot confirm any of the details mentioned above and advise you take this with a proverbial pinch of salt. Stay tuned for more updates as the launch is just a day away.

Recently, the LeEco Le 2 (X621) was spotted on TENAA listing and is also expected to be launched on April 20 alongside Le 2 Pro and Le Max 2 in China. As per the TENAA listing, the Le 2 will feature 5.5-inch 1080p bezel-less display, Xelio X25 2.3GHz deca-core SoC, 3GB of RAM, 32GB storage, 16MP primary camera, 8MP front snapper, 3000mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The rumors also suggest that the smartphone will skip the 3.5mm audio jack and includes a common port for both charging and audio.
