Lenovo launched the mid-range A7000 smartphone back in April 2015 with decent specifications at an affordable price point of Rs. 8,999. Now, the brand has officially launched the successor of the smartphone called as Lenovo A7000 Turbo in India. The new device comes with even better specifications and is available for pre-orders online via Lenovo India official website priced at Rs. 10,999 and shipping starts from January 13th. The A7000 Turbo comes with almost similar features like the K3 Note but the only difference is the A7000 Turbo has dual-LTE support.
Coming to the specifications part, the Lenovo A7000 Turbo flaunts a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) Full-HD IPS display offering a pixel density of 401ppi. Under the hood, it comes powered by MediaTek MT6752 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The device supports dual sim dual standby and runs on older Android 5.0 Lollipop based Vibe UI 2.0 out of the box.
On the photographic section, the smartphone sports a 13MP autofocus primary camera with OmniVision OV13850 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, dual tone LED flash and also supports 1080p video recording at 30fps. On the front, it comes with a 5MP shooter with a f/2.2 aperture for crisp selfie images. It has 16GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot for expansion upto 32GB. It comes with standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi and microUSB 2.0 port with OTG support.
The design of the smartphone is almost similar to the earlier launched A7000 and also features Dolby Atmos technology for enhanced sound experience. The handset packs a 2900mAh battery that the company claims has the energy to last upto an entire day on mixed usage. A quick recall, Lenovo has recently launched a mid-range powerful smartphone called as Lenovo K4 Note in India. The device is priced at 11,999 and will be available for sale exclusively online via Amazon starting January 19. The K4 Note features 5.5-inch 1080p display, MediaTek MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, 13MP main camera, 5MP front snapper, 4G-LTE connectivity, NFC and 3300mAh battery. The device also includes a fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
