Lenovo today launched two new smartphones in India. At an event organised in Delhi, it launched Moto Z and Moto Z Play in the country. These devices were announced one month earlier at IFA in Berlin. The Moto Z has been priced at INR 39,999. On the other hand, Moto Z Play has been priced at INR 24,999 in India. These smartphones will be available on Amazon India and Flipkart from 17 October. Apart from these two, Lenovo also announced Moto Mods which are kind of attachment for the smartphones for more battery and zoom camera.

Talking about the specification of Moto Z it comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display device along with resolution of 2560*1440 pixels. It has the pixel density of 535ppi with Corning Gorilla Glass on top for protection. It is available in Black colour with Lunar Grey trim. It also comes with Water repellent nano-coating. There is a Fingerprint sensor on board.
The Moto Z is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor along with Adreno 530 GPU for better performance. There is 4GB RAM on board along with 64GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card. Moto Z runs on Android Marshmallow out of the box and also comes with some Moto enhancements like Moto display, Moto actions and Moto voice.
Talking about the camera of the device, it has 13MP rear camera which comes with dual LED flash. It also supports optical image stabilisation(OIS), zero shutter lag, laser autofocus and colour correlated temperature(CCT). There is a 5MP front shooter as well with a wide field of view. The rear camera can capture up to 1080p full HD videos at 60 frames per second. It can also shoot 4K videos at 30fps. The smartphone comes with a 2600mAh battery which company claims can deliver up to 24 hours of charge on mix use. It also supports TurboPower which company claims can give up to 7 hours of power in only 15 minutes. Moto Z is a dual nano-SIM smartphone with the support of 4G VoLTE.
On the other hand, Moto Z Play is also 5.5-inch display smartphone with a super AMOLED 1080p screen. It comes with a 3510mAh battery which company claims can give up to 45 hours of talk time on mix use. Like Moto Z it also supports TurboPower. There is 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor on board along with Adreno 506 GPU. It also comes with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Moto Enhancements. There is 3GB RAM on board along with 32GB internal storage and up to 2TB SD card support.
Moto Z Play has 16MP laser autofocus camera along with dual LED flash. It can also capture up to 4K videos. There is a 5MP front shooter as well with LED Flash. It is also dual SIM smartphone with USB Type-C support and a 3.5mm port. It has a fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and other connectivity options.
