Lenovo P90 Pro with 4GB RAM & 4000mAh Battery Launched in Russia

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Lenovo launched the Lenovo P90 smartphone with decent specifications at the CES 2015 event. Today, the brand has officially released the successor of the P90 with enhanced specifications called as Lenovo P90 Pro in Russia. The smartphone is currently listed on the company’s official Russia website and is priced aggressively at 14,990 Rubles (approx $195). The Lenovo P90 Pro is the same smartphone that was launched as Lenovo K80M last month.

Talking about the specifications, the Lenovo P90 Pro flaunts a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD IPS display offering 401ppi as pixel density. Under the hood, it comes powered by Intel Atom Z3560 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz paired with Power VR Series 6 GPU for lag-free and smooth performance. The single sim supported smartphone runs on older Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, and we can expect it to be updated to Android 5.1 Lollipop soon.

On the camera cordon, the device sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and a 5MP front snapper for video chats and selfie lovers. It has 4GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage and there is no microSD card slot for expansion of memory. It includes standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi and microUSB 2.0 port with OTG support.

The handset powers a massive 4000mAh battery that the company claims can offer upto 23.5 hours of talk time and can last upto 566 hours of standby time. Even with these specifications, the dimensions of the smartphone measure 149 x 77 x 8.5 mm weighs around 165 grams and is currently available in Black color variant. Apart from the older operating system, the Lenovo P90 Pro is pretty powerful device considering the affordable price tag that it is being offered. To recap, Lenovo India has recently teased a couple of images hinting at the launch of a global variant of the Lenovo Lemon 3 smartphone at the upcoming MWC 2016 event in Barcelona. The smartphone features 5-inch full-HD display, Snapdragon 616 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 13MP primary camera, 5MP selfie shooter, 4G-LTE and 2750mAh battery. The smartphone is expected to sport an all-metal unibody design and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
