Lenovo has just revealed a list of smartphones that will be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop starting the next quarter. There are in total seven phones on it. Below are the smartphones that will receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade:

  • A5000
  • A6000
  • P70-A
  • S90-A
  • VIBE X2 (Lenovo X2)
  • VIBE Z2
  • VIBE Z2 Pro (Lenovo K920)
  • Noticeably absent at the moment are Yoga tablets, budget smartphone offerings like the S856, S860 or S930.The updates to Android 5.0 Lollipop for these smartphones are still far out, though, with Lenovo only committing to releasing them sometime during the second quarter of this year. That could be at any point between April 1 and June 30.

Earlier this month, Lenovo launched the P70 Android device with the 64-bit processor along with the huge battery power of 4000mAH. While many companies are focusing on the battery and the processor, Lenovo has done the smart thing by coming with this smartphone that focuses on both of these without compromising on any of them.
