Lenovo has launched many smartphones in the last couple of months in the entry-level and mid-range segments which is the major market share in most of the countries. The company released the battery-focused smartphone in its Vibe series called as Lenovo Vibe P1 back in October last year in India. Today, the brand has officially launched the upgraded variant of the Vibe P1 called as Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo in India. The device comes with almost similar specifications and design as its predecessor with the only major difference being the RAM option. The Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo is priced at Rs. 17,999 and is available for purchase via both online and offline platforms across the country.

In terms of specifications, the Vibe P1 Turbo comes with a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) full-HD IPS display that offers a pixel density of 401ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 laid on top of it for protection. Under the hood, the device comes powered by same Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz clubbed with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The earlier launched Vibe P1 comes with just 2GB of RAM and is one of the significant difference between both the devices.
On the camera cordon, the smartphone comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with PDAF for faster focus, dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP shooter for video chats and stunning selfie images. The device comes with 32GB of onboard storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion of memory upto 128GB. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and comes with connectivity options like 4G-LTE, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth and microUSB 2.0 port with OTG functionality.
The handset is backed by an enormous 5000mAh battery that is rated to deliver upto 49 hours of talk time and can last upto 30 days in standby mode. The smartphone also supports reverse charging and can charge other devices with the provided OTG functionality. The smartphone also features 24W Turbo Charging and just five minutes of charging is rated to offer three hours of talk time. The device also comes with a dedicated button that can be used for enabling the power saving mode.
The smartphone sports premium looks with all-metal unibody design and also features a physical home button that double’s up as a fingerprint sensor for enhanced security. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based Vibe UI laid on top and is expected to receive Android Marshmallow update in the future. The dimensions of the handset measure 152.9 x 75.6 x 9.9 mm weighs around 189 grams and comes in Silver, Gold, and Graphite Grey color options.
