Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo with 3GB RAM & 5000mAh Battery Launched in Indonesia

Lenovo has been launching some impressive smartphones in the last couple of months in the entry-level and mid-range segments. The brand launched two new battery-focused smartphones called as Lenovo Vibe P1 and Vibe P1M back in October last year in India. Today, the company has silently released the successor of the Vibe P1 called as Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo in Indonesia. The new smartphone comes with almost similar specifications and also sports similar design as its predecessor.

Coming to the specifications part, the Vibe P1 Turbo flaunts a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) full-HD display offering a pixel density of 401ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 laid on top of it for protection. Under the hood, the device comes powered by Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz clubbed with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The earlier launched smartphone comes with just 2GB of RAM and is one of the major difference between both the devices.

On the camera section, the smartphone features a 13MP rear camera with PDAF for faster focus, dual-tone LED flash and also records videos in 1080p resolution at 30fps. On the front, it has a 5MP shooter for video chats and stunning selfie images. The device comes with 32GB of onboard storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion upto 128GB. The device supports dual sim dual standby and comes with connectivity options like 4G-LTE, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth and microUSB 2.0 port with OTG support.

The handset is backed by an enormous 5000mAh battery that is rated to deliver upto 49 hours of talk time and can last upto 30 days in standby mode. The smartphone also supports reverse charging and can charge other devices with the provided OTG functionality. The smartphone also features 24W Turbo Charging and just five minutes of charging is rated to offer three hours of talk time. The device also comes with a dedicated button that can be used for enabling the power saving mode.

The device sports premium looks with all-metal unibody design and also features a physical home button that double’s up as a fingerprint sensor for enhanced security. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based Vibe UI laid on top and is expected to receive Android Marshmallow update in the future. The Lenovo Vibe P1 Turbo comes in Silver, Gold and Graphite Grey color options and is priced at IDR 39,99,000 (approx $297/Rs. 20,200). To recap, Lenovo has recently launched a new premium tablet in India called as Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro priced at Rs. 39,990 and is available for sale online exclusively via Flipkart and all leading offline stores. The tablet features 10.2-inch 2K display, Intel Atom x5-Z8500 quad-core SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13MP main camera, 5MP front snapper, 4G-LTE connectivity and 10,200mAh battery. The main USP of the tablet is it comes with an inbuilt projector and also sports four front-facing JBL speakers for enhanced sound experience.
