Earlier, we exclusively reported about the unannounced Vibe X3 smartphone being surfaced online with high-end specifications. Recently, Lenovo sent out media invites for an event scheduled for November 16 teasing the launch of the upcoming Vibe X3 smartphone. We can also expect the company to launch the earlier rumored Vibe X3 Lite smartphone on the same day.
According to rumors, the Vibe X3 features a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full-HD display and will come powered by Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz paired with Adreno 418 GPU. The device has 3GB RAM, 64GB built-in storage that can be further expanded using a microSD card slot.
The smartphone sports a 21MP auto-focus rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and an 8MP front snapper for selfie lovers. The device supports dual standby with 4G-LTE connectivity and will come backed by a 3500mAh battery. The metal build device also features a fingerprint scanner for enhanced security.
On the other hand, the Vibe X3 Lite is the downgraded variant of the Vibe X3. The Vibe X3 Lite sports similar design like the Vibe X3, but comes with mid-range specifications. According to the leaks, the device features a 5.5-inch Full-HD display, MediaTek MT6753T octa-core SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front shooter and a 3300mAh battery.
Both the devices run on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Vibe UI out of the box with an upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in future. The Motorola designed smartphones sports dual front-facing speakers and will come with Hi-Fi audio technology. The are also rumors suggesting that the Vibe X3 and Vibe X3 Lite will be priced at 1,299 Yuan (approx $204/ Rs. 13,500) and 899 Yuan (approx $141/ Rs. 9,300) respectively. Since, the company officially confirms nothing take this information with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned for the official launch of the device.
