Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 with 8″ HD Display & 4G-LTE Connectivity Launched in India at Rs. 16,499

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Lenovo showcased the Yoga Tab 3 at IFA 2015 event. Now, the company has officially launched the mid-range Yoga Tab 3 tablet with 4G-LTE support in India priced at Rs 16,999. Along with the Yoga Tab 3 the company also launched an entry-level Wi-Fi only tablet called as Lenovo Tab 2 A7-20 priced at Rs 5,499, i.e., already available for purchase via Snapdeal at a discounted price of Rs. 4,999.

Coming to its specifications, the Yoga Tab 3 features an 8-inch (1280×800 pixels) HD IPS display and comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz clubbed with Adreno 304 GPU. It comes with 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and microSD card support for expansion upto 128GB.

The main USP of the tablet is 8MP autofocus rotational camera that can be rotated 180-degrees for video calling. The tablet also features the company’s own AnyPen technology that lets users use anything, from a pencil to a fork, as a stylus for the display. The tablet also comes with the speakers powered by Dolby Atmos.

The tablet comes backed by a 6200mAh battery that delivers upto 20 hours of heavy usage and upto 95 days on standby mode. Connectivity options on the 4G capable tablet include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB port. The tablet runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box, and its dimensions are 210 x 146 x 7 mm weighs around 472 grams. The Yoga Tab 3 also has a Wi-Fi only version as well as a 10-inch version with Wi-Fi only and LTE variant.

A quick recall, Lenovo has recently launched a tablet-sized smartphone dubbed as Phab Plus priced at Rs. 18,490. The Phab Plus features a large 6.8-inch FHD display, Snapdragon 615 octa-core SoC, 2GB RAM, 32GB built-in storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and a 3500mAh battery. The smartphone supports 4G-LTE connectivity and is exclusively available for sale via Amazon India.
