Lenovo sub-brand ZUK debuted the Chinese market last year with the launch of ZUK Z1 smartphone. Recently, the company launched its second flagship smartphone called as ZUK Z2 Pro in China. The smartphone comes with high-end specifications like Snapdragon 820 SoC, 5.2-inch full-HD display, and 6GB of RAM. As teased earlier, Lenovo has today officially unveiled its Lenovo ZUK Z1 smartphone in India. The smartphone is similar to the Chinese variant and comes with premium mid-range features.
Talking about the specifications, the Lenovo ZUK Z1 flaunts a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD display offering a pixel density of 401ppi for the great visual experience. Under the hood, the smartphone comes powered by Snapdragon 801 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz paired with Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM for hassle free and smooth performance. It has 64GB of built-in storage, and there is no microSD card slot for further expansion of memory. The device looks premium with metallic frame on its sides and also includes a physical home button that double’s up as fingerprint sensor for advanced security.
The device runs on Cyanogen OS 12.1 based Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. On the camera cordon, the smartphone features a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, OIS, LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera with a f/2.2 aperture for video chats and stunning selfie clicks. Both the cameras of the smartphone can record videos in 1080p resolution. The device supports dual sim dual standby and includes standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi and USB Type-C 3.0 port.
It is the first smartphone from Lenovo to be launched in India with USB Type-C port. The handset comes backed by a 4100mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 technology that is rated to deliver upto 38 hours of talk time and upto 526 hours of standby time. The dimensions of the smartphone measure 155.7 x 77.3 x 8.9 mm weighs around 175 grams and comes in White and Dark Grey color options. The Lenovo ZUK Z1 is priced at Rs. 13,499 and will be available for sale online exclusively via Amazon India.
