LG has announced a new Android smartphone, Band Play in South Korea. The smartphone features a 1-watt speaker which provide a clear, rich sound. The Band Play comes with a pair of LG QuadBeat 3 earphones out of the box.
The Band Play has a 5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels. It is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM, There’s a 13 MP rear camera with laser autofocus on the back, and a 5 MP wide-angle camera on the front. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The other specs include 16 GB of expandable internal memory and a 2,300 mAh removable battery. It also has 4G LTE connectivity.
The smartphone comes with Focus Mode. As its name suggests, if someone tries to reach you while you’re focused, the LG Band Play will automatically send them a rejection message. The LG Band Play will be available in South Korea later this week for 394,800 KRW (about $356), in two color versions: black and white.
