LG G2 mini Android Phone Announced with 4.7-inch qHD Display, Android 4.4 – Details

LG has officially announced the LG G2 Mini today, ahead of Mobile World Congress 2014. The Smart phone features a 4.7 inch display and has rear power and volume buttons as its predecessor LG G2. The G2 Mini comes in Black, White, Red and Gold colors and will be available in Russia from March, later will be followed by the Middle East, Latin America, Asia, and Europe. Before we proceed to talk about the specs, let me tell you that this device too is as disappointing as the Mini versions from other brands, except for the Xperia Z1 Compact.

LG G2 Mini will be coming with a 4.7 inch touch screen display with 960 x 540 pixels powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM and will be running on Android 4.4 KitKat Operating system out of the box. There is an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3 MP front facing camera for video calling. The on board memory of the device is 8 GB that can be extended via micro SD card slot. The LG G2 Mini has the connectivity’s like 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS and is powered by a 2440 mAh battery on its back. The dimensions of the device are given as 129.6 x 66 x 9.8 mm and the weights 121 grams.

This LG G2 Mini comes withal the G2 features such as Guest Mode, Knock ON, Quick Memo and lots more features. The LG L90, the company’s upcoming smartphone in the L Series III has similar specifications, but has a different design. The device is set for a roll out in March in the regions, starting with Russia, Middle East, Latin America, Asia and then Europe. LG G2 Mini will be coming in Black, Red and Gold variants and the pricing of the device is not yet given for now.
