LG has been in the news for a while now, as it is gearing up for the launch of one of the two Nexus devices at an event on September 29. Earlier we talked about LG V10 smartphone with ‘auxiliary ticker display’ spotted on TENAA. Now, yet another unannounced LG smartphone codenamed as H740 has been surfaced passing through GFXBench.
As per the listing, LG H740 looks like upcoming upper mid-range phablet. Talking about the leaked specifications, LG H740 will feature a phablet sized 5.7-inch 1080p display and will come powered by Snapdragon 615 octa-core SoC alongside Adreno 405 GPU. The device has 2GB RAM, 8GB built-in storage and microSD card support for expansion. It will sport a 12MP or 13MP camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing shooter. The device is expected to run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box, and other rumored specs include 4G-LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS and microUSB port.
As said earlier, LG has sent out invites for an event on October 1st in New York City, where it is expected to unveil its new flagship phone, the LG V10. There are chances that LG will also launch the mysterious H740 in the same event.
