Guide to Update your Galaxy GRAND DUOS I9082 with XXAMCE Jellybean 4.1.2 Firmware:
- Download XXAMCE Jellybean 4.1.2 Firmware Package and Odin from here to your computer. Once downloaded, open Odin in your computer. Ensure that you are closing the KIES which generally runs in the background.
- Turn Off your Galaxy GRAND DUOS so that it can be entered in the Download Mode. Download mode in Galaxy Grand I9082 can be entered by pressing Volume down Key, Center button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button after which a green robot will be shown indicating the Download Mode has been entered.
- Connect your phone to the computer with the help of original USB cable and then you will see that the ID: COM section will turn Yellow indicating that all the drivers are installed successfully.
- Click on “PDA” to select the tar file which you will get after extraction and click on “Start” to start the process of firmware update. As soon as the firmware is updated successfully, the device will be rebooted. The process of firmware update takes around 4 -5 minutes.
- Once the firmware is updated, you can navigate to the path “Settings > About Phone” where the firmware version can be checked where the current firmware version will be mentioned as Jellybean 4.1.2 XXAMCE.
Note: If the device gets into the boot loop sequence or say gets stuck in the welcome screen, just re insert the battery and re follow the above instructions so as to again follow the above mentioned instructions.
