Procedure to Update Galaxy Note 8 N5110 with Jellybean 4.1.2 Firmware:
- Download the Jellybean 4.1.2 Firmware Package and Odin from here to your computer. Once downloaded, you now need to turn off your tablet so that it can be entered in the Download Mode.
- Extract the downloaded packages in your computer.
- Download Mode in Galaxy Note 8 N5110 can be entered by pressing the Volume Down + Menu Button and then holding these both buttons, you will need to turn ON the device so that it can be entered in the Download Mode.
- Open Odin in your computer and connect your Galaxy Note 8 N5110 to the computer with the help of original USB cable to see that the ID: COM section will turn Yellow indicating that all the drivers are installed successfully.
- Click on “PDA” to select the tar file which you get upon extraction of the firmware package.
Note: Just in a rare case if the device is not updated and it gets into the boot loop mode, you need to again clear the cache from the recovery mode and retry the whole process from the start.
