- Enable the USB Debugging Mode in your computer from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging”. Make sure that your HTC Desire is left with the minimum of 40% battery or else the device might just get turned Off in the middle of firmware update.

Procedure to Update Galaxy SL I9003 with Jellybean 4.3 Firmware:
- Download Jellybean Firmware Package from here to your computer. Once downloaded, connect your device to the computer with the help of original USB cable and place the zip file in your device.
- Now, disconnect the device and Download the ROM Manager app from the Google PLAY Store. Install the Custom Recovery image in the ROM Manager app and then the device will be booted in the recovery mode.
- In recovery mode, select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” and then choose the firmware package which you have placed in the device.
- Once the device is updated, you will get to see the message ”install from sd card complete”, select “reboot system now” for rebooting the device in the normal mode. Please be noted that it will take around 3 -5 minutes for applying the update and also it will take more than usual time for booting the device.
- As soon as the device boots up, navigate to the path “Settings > About Phone” where you will get to see the details of firmware updated.
Note: If at all your Samsung Galaxy SL I9003 gets in the boot loop sequence then you need to turn off the device and then reapply the update from the start. To turn off you can reinsert the battery or say you can long press the power button.
