Procedure to Update SONY Xperia ZL with Jellybean 4.3 Android OS:
- Download the Jellybean 4.3 Android OS Firmware Package and Google Apps Package from here to your computer. Once downloaded, connect your device to the computer with the help of original USB cable and place the two zip files in your device.
- Now, turn Off your device and disconnect the same from the computer so that you can then enter the device in the recovery mode. Recovery Mode in Xperia ZL can be entered by pressing the Volume Up button repeatedly after turning ON the device.
- Once the device is entered in the Recovery Mode, perform a Full Data Wipe by selecting the appropriate options. Select the options, Full Data Wipe and Wipe Data / Factory Reset option. Once the wiping process is done, you will need to select “install zip from sd card” and “choose the zip from sd card” tio select the cm-10.2-20130821-NIGHTLY-odin.zip#sthash.mH7cCPP9.dpuf zip file and Google Apps Package to start the process of firmware update.
- It might take around 3-4 minutes for applying the firmware update and once it’s done, select “+++++Go Back+++++” and tap reboot system now in recovery menu for rebooting the phone.
Note: If at all your SONY Xperia ZL gets in the boot loop sequence then you need to turn off the device and then reapply the update from the start. To turn off you can reinsert the battery or say you can long press the power button.
