Update: Meizu officially launched its flagship device ‘Meizu MX5’ yesterday in China, and new rumours came out about the possible launch of the MX5 Pro on 28th July. We have already seen the images and specifications of the device leaked earlier this month.
The device is already got certified by TENAA in China. The device features a 6-inch Quad HD (2560×1440) display. The oval shaped home button with integrated fingerprint scanner can be seen in the leaked images. According to a latest report, the MX5 Pro will have an Exynos 7420 SoC, the same chip that powers the Galaxy S6/S6 edge. The MX5 will also have 4GB of RAM and a fingerprint reader. The smartphone also features a large 6-inch display with 1440 x 2560 pixels and a 4000 mAh battery.
Recently, two photos showing the back of the bigger device with a flat glass pane, instead of beveled plastic appeared online. The Meizu MX5 Pro is expected to be announced in July, about one month later than the regular MX5, which may be officially unveiled in the next few weeks.

Some images of the alleged MX5 Pro has leaked online. The images show that the Pro version will be made of what seems to be a metallic frame and will be having glass on the back cover. The camera is located on the same position as we have seen in the MX5. The MX5 Pro is expected to feature a six-inch screen.
According to the rumours, the Meizu MX5 will be unveiled later this month. The MX5 was recently spotted on Chinese regulator TENAA’s website and was later detailed in a hands-on video.The smartphone will reportedly feature a 5.5-inch display. Iy will be powered by the unannounced Mediatek MT6793 chipset with a 2.3GHz octa-core processor. Also 3GB of RAM will be on board and the 16GB internal storage will be expandable via microSD up to 128GB.
The Meizu MX5 will have one of the thinnest bezels around. ZTE’s Nubia Z9 did really great in that aspect, and it seems like this China-based company is looking to follow ZTE’s lead and introduced some really great looking devices this year. The MX5 is expected to run on Android Lollipop will come pre-installed on this handset with the company’s Flyme UI on top of it.The primary camera will be a 20MP and front camera of 3MP. The new smartphone measures 146 x 74.6 x 7.9mm and will have 3,150mAh battery.
