Meizu launched its latest smartphone ‘Meizu MX5’ last month in Beijing, China. It comes in three different variants with different internal storages, and the 16GB variant of the MX5 costs $290. The design of the smartphone looks very much similar to its predecessor MX4. Apart from the improved specifications the MX5 comes with an oval shaped physical home button with a fingerprint scanner integrated into it. According to few rumors Meizu is also going to launch the MX5 Pro on July 28.
On the front of the device, we can see a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920×1080) Super AMOLED display along with the above-mentioned home button. Under the hood, it has a MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 octa-core processor coupled with PowerVR G6200 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
There is a 20.7MP rear camera with dual LED flash, a 5MP front camera and a battery of 3,150mAh capacity. It comes with dual SIM dual standby support along with other connectivity features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS.
