The popular Chinese smartphone maker, Meizu has been in the news for a while now about the launch of its flagship Meizu Pro 6 smartphone that is supposed to launch in the second half of 2016. The company has recently confirmed that it will unveil a mid-range smartphone called as Meizu M3 Note at an event on April 6. Now, a list has leaked online that reveals as many as seven smartphones will be launched by Meizu this year. The list includes Meizu M3, M3 Note, Metal 2, MX6, MX6 Mini, Pro 6 and Pro 6 Mini. The leaked data also reveals the key information and pricing details of the upcoming devices.
Let’s talk about the upcoming smartphones in detail:
The Meizu M3 will be the most affordable smartphone that will be launched by the company this year. The device features 5-inch HD display and there is no information about the processor. It has 2GB of RAM and will come with 16GB/32GB storage options. The handset is listed to come backed by a 2800mAh battery. The M3 is the successor of Meizu M2, and will be priced at 599 Yuan (approx $92) for 16GB variant while the 32GB version costs 799 Yuan approx $123).
Meizu M3 Note
The Meizu M3 Note is the successor of the Meizu M2 Note and is the first smartphone to be launched by the company at an event on April 6th, 2016. The smartphone is rumored to feature 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD display, MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB/32GB onboard storage and powers a 3200mAh battery. The Meizu M3 Note is expected to cost 799 Yuan for the 16GB variant while the 32GB version costs 999 Yuan (approx $154).
Meizu Metal 2
The Meizu Metal 2 is the upgraded variant of the Meizu Metal that launched last year and will be priced at 999 Yuan for 16GB variant, 1199 Yuan for 32GB version and 1499 Yuan for 64GB version. The smartphone features 5.5-inch full-HD display and comes powered by Helio X20 deca-core processor clubbed with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with an all-metal body and also includes a physical home button that double’s up as fingerprint sensor. The Metal 2 powers a 3200mAh battery and also supports fast charging.
Meizu MX6 & MX6 Mini
The Meizu MX 5 was one of the best devices that launched in 2015 at an affordable price tag. Now, the company is all set to launch Meizu MX6 and also the smaller MX6 Mini. Both the smartphones come powered by Helio X20 deca-core SoC clubbed with 4GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB/64GB as internal storage options. The MX6 will flaunt 5.5-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display while the MX6 Mini will come with a 4.7-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display. The smartphones feature an all-metal design with mBack button that double’s up as fingerprint sensor and NFC support for virtual payments. The MX6 comes backed by a 3300mAh battery while the MX6 Mini powers slightly smaller 2800mAh battery. The Meizu MX6 will be priced starting from 1,799 Yuan (roughly $277) while the MX6 Mini will cost starting 1,499 Yuan (around $230).
Meizu Pro 6 & Pro 6 Mini
The Meizu Pro 6 & Pro 6 Mini will be flagship devices of the company for 2016. As per the leaked data, the Pro 6 is expected to feature 5.7-inch Super AMOLED 2K display while the Pro 6 Mini will come with a smaller 4.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display. The Pro 6 is said to come powered by Helio X25 octa-core SoC, but the leaked data reveals to come powered by Exynos 8890 SoC. On the other hand, the Pro 6 Mini will pack MediaTek Helio X25 SoC. Both the smartphones will come in 4GB/6GB RAM versions with 32GB/64GB/128GB as internal storage options. The smartphone will have a fingerprint sensor and Hi-Fi 3.0 for terrific sound quality. The Pro 6 & Pro 6 Mini will power 3500mAh battery and 2800mAh battery respectively with fast charging support. The Pro 6 will be priced at 2,799 Yuan (approx $430 / Rs. 28,750) for 32GB variant, 3099 Yuan (approx $476 / Rs. 31,900) for the 64GB version and the 128GB variant will cost 3499 Yuan (approx $538 / Rs. 36,000). On the other hand the smaller Pro 6 Mini will cost 2,299 Yuan (approx $353 / Rs. 23,600) for 32GB storage variant, while the 64GB and 128GB storage variant costs 2,599 Yuan (approx $400 / Rs. 26,700) and 2,999 Yuan (approx $461 / Rs. 30,800) respectively.
