Micromax has unveiled a new smartphone Bolt D303, today. It has been priced at Rs. 3499. The smartphone comes pre-loaded with 10 regional languages. It’s first smartphone in sub 3K category with multiple language features claimed as claimed by the company.
The Micromax Bolt D303 features a 4-inch WVGA TN touchscreen display with 480 x 800 pixels of resolution. It is powered by a 1.3Ghz dual-core (MT6572W chipset) processor and coupled with 512MB of RAM. The built-in 8GB storage is further expandable via up to 32 GB of microSD card. The phone runs on latest Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) OS.
The Bolt D303 smartphone houses a 3.2-megapixel auto-focus rear camera and also boasts a 0.3 Mega Pixel front facing camera. In terms of connectivity options, the phone include 3G HSPA, FM Radio, WiFi, Bluetooth, micro-USB, Mobile hotspot, AGPS/GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack. It has also Dual SIM (WCDMA + GSM) with dual standby functionality. The phone measures 13.6 x 6.7 x 1 cm dimensions and weighs 192 gms.
Last month, Micromax launched its new flagship, Canvas Sliver 5 smartphone in India. It is 5.1mm thin and weighs only 97 grams. The company claims that the Canvas Sliver 5 is the slimmest phone ever with no bumps. The Canvas Silver 5 comes with a 4.8-inch HD AMOLED display, with the Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone has a metallic rim made out of aircraft grade aluminium.
