The Micromax has officially unveiled its new flagship, Canvas Sliver 5 smartphone in India, today. It is 5.1mm thin and weighs only 97 grams. The company claims that the Canvas Sliver 5 is the slimmest phone ever with no bumps. The Canvas Silver 5 comes with a 4.8-inch HD AMOLED display, with the Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone has a metallic rim made out of aircraft grade aluminium.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64-bit CPU clocked at 1.2 GHz coupled with 2GB of RAM. It also supports 4G LTE. On the camera front, it features 8MP Sony IMX219 stacked CMOS sensor. The device is backed by 2000 mAh Battery and supports single SIM only.
The Canvas Sliver 5 runs on Android Lollipop and comes with the internal storage of 16GB with no SD card support.The smartphone comes with Dirac HD Sound and NXP Smart Power Amplifier for better sound. It will be available in Black and Gold colour options.
Along with the smartphone, the company also announced a new door-step phone service. In case of services for the Sliver 5, users can go to the Web or make a call to lodge a complaint. The device will be collected from your home or office and will be delivered back within 7 days.
