After Spice Mobiles and Karbonn confirmed about their Android One lineup of smartphone, it’s time for Micromax as well to tease public. WAIT! If you have already made plans to buy the XiaoMi Redmi 1S Android smartphone, then it’s better to wait for the same until you hear about “Android One” program which will be announced on September, 15th, 2014. It’s been in the rumors that Google will be launching bunch of android smartphones which are manufactured by Karbonn, Spice Mobiles and Micromax of whose software stack and experience will be controlled by Google and not the OEMs.
If the above equation holds true then it means that consumers will be witnessing no less than the cheaper versions of Nexus smartphones which are otherwise costly when compared to the devices which will be launched under Android One program. While Karbonn chose to go with Snapdeal for the purchase, Spice with flipkart, Micromax is all set to go with Amazon.in for selling its smartphone(s) which will be announced under Android One programme on September, 15th 2014.
Micromax has come out with the teaser campaign which says, “CAN REFRESH with The Smartest ONE”. Obviously, ONE stands for the Android One programme. Smartphone from Micromax can come with the 4.5 inches of screen size, Dual Sim card slot along with the SD Card slot, FM Radio capability and not to forget about the standard connectivity options like WIFI, Bluetooth, Dual Cameras and 3.5mm headset audio jack. While the complete specs will only be announced by the company on 15th September, till then sit back, relax and wait for the fun to begin which will empower consumers with more better options than compared to the ONLY better option with the XiaoMi Redmi 1S which can hardly be purchased by a common man.
