Nubia Mini 5G Smartphone Announced with 5.7” 18:9 Display & SD 855 SoC

Nubia Red Magic 3 gaming smartphone is going to launch next in China and today the company has announced its first 5G smartphone which will be called as Nubia Mini 5G. The pricing of the handset has not been mentioned yet nor the global availability is known. Although the handset is rumored to be priced lower than the other 5G smartphones in the country which should be known soon when the company decides to Launch the smartphone.

Now talking about the specs of the device, the Nubia Mini looks similar to the Nubia Z18 mini that was launched a year back and also has few similar specs. Well, the new smartphone will come equipped with the latest 7nm Snapdragon 855 chipset along with the X50 modem to support 5G connectivity. The handset flaunts a 5.7-inch IPS display with Full HD+ (2160 × 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio with a 2.5D curved glass on top.

The handset comes out of the box with the latest Android 9.0 Pie operating system with Nubia’s AI UI 7.0 on top. The smartphone will come with 6GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage and as of now, there is no information on the microSD card slot. The other connectivity option that the handset include is 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz & 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS along with a Type-C charging port. The device measures 148 × 70.6 × 7.6 mm and weighs 153 grams

Furthermore, the handset will be having a 3450 mAh battery on the back along with the support for fast charging technology. As per the optics are concerned, it will be coming with a 48MP main camera sensor on the back along with a secondary 5MP sensor and on the front, there is an 8MP camera for selfies.
