Samsung Galaxy View 2 Tablet has leaked with a kickstand design which will be the successor of the Galaxy View Tablet that was launched in 2015 with an 18.4-inch display. The latest device is also confirmed to be launched soon in the US via AT&T. Nothing is known about the pricing nor the global rollout of this upcoming tablet as of now but it will be made available in both Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + LTE variants.
Furthermore, the device will be coming with a new hinged kickstand design that can be adjusted up to 30 degrees and the tablet will be able to lay flat when it is closed completely. There is a big hole on the kickstand which will be offering a better grip to the users to carry the device easily to any place. Well, the upcoming tablet will be coming with a 17.5-inch HD display which is smaller when compared to its predecessor Galaxy View 2 that had an 18.4-inch display.
Furthermore, the device will be powered by a 14nm Exynos 7885 Octa-core SoC which is a basic level chipset which cannot perform many bigger tasks. The Galaxy View tablet was powered with Exynos 7580 chipset with eight cores coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and it was also launched with Media UX UI. We don’t think the same UI will be used on the upcoming handset also. It could be coming out of the box with Android Oreo or Pie operating for which we should wait for a few more days.
The tablet offers 2GB of basic RAM along with 32GB and 64GB of storage options and should be equipped with a MicroSD card slot. The Galaxy View was powered with a big 5700mAh battery and came with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box. Well, we need to wait for a few more days to get more details of the same and we might just see Samsung announcing the tablet silently over the next few weeks.
