Enhancements in Gingerbread EH 09 Update:
- There are quite a few bunch of enhancements which this firmware has come along which we will see in this section. The first and the foremost enhancement is that the notification bar has got a full make over as it now comes along with an all new refreshing green colored Gingerbread themed style, icons and also new background images. Along with this new stylized theme, users now also get an enhanced quick panel which too is now matched with the Gingerbread style.
- The Signal strength bar now comes with 5 bars instead of earlier’s 4 and also the network status bar changes once user logs into the Google account. The default keyboard in the phone is also now changed with a new color and layout.
- For power management, the Battery use screen is updated with Phone signal, Awake, Screen on and Charging time and also in the power management front, you can now manage applications along with the storage status, USB storage and RAM.
- Calendar application now has been added “Show extra options” options menu when creating an event or editing an event: “Show me as” and “Privacy”. Apart from this, you can now experience better overall battery and also an all new lock time zone capability in the calendar application for showing all the calendar settings.
- If we talk of the addition in the applications then an all new application named as “Downloads” is now part of the apps which displays all the downloads which you have done from your device except the ones you have downloaded from the Android market Place.
