Procedure to update Samsung Mesmerize i500 with Gingerbread 2.3.4:
- First up you need to download the Mesmerize Upgrade tool which we will be seeing in the due course of this article on how you can use the same for upgrading the firmware.
- Once, it is downloaded you need to open the same and need to install the same on your computer. As soon as you double click on the downloaded .exe file you will see the below shown screen after which you need to click on the “Next” tab to continue in the Samsung upgrade tool as shown in the below screen shot.
- Now next up as soon as you click on the next, you will see another window wherein you need to click on the “Next” tab to proceed for the installation process as shown in the below image..
- Now, once the install shield wizard installs successfully on your computer, all you need to do is to just click on the “Finish” tab after which you will be prompted to restart the computer and then you need to choose “Yes, I want to restart my computer now” and select the “Finish” option.
- Now, after the system is restarted, you will see that an all new icon will be shown on the desktop which is shown in the below screen shot.
- Once you see this you will have to click on it to open the same after which you will see a window which will be looking like the same as shown below.
