Earlier, there were many rumors about OnePlus launching a OnePlus Mini smartphone, but the company had different plans and came up with mid-ranged OnePlus X smartphone. Now, a new smartphone from OnePlus has been spotted online on GFXBench Listing with an unknown model number, and if this comes true, it might launch as the alleged OnePlus Mini smartphone.
As per the listing, the smartphone features a 4.6-inch (1080×1920 pixels) Full-HD display offering a pixel density of 479ppi. Apart from the smaller screen rest of the specifications of the device are almost similar to flagship OnePlus 2 smartphone. The smartphone comes powered by Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz coupled with Adreno 430 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage.
On the camera front, the smartphone will come with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 4K video recording support and a 5MP front-facing shooter for selfie clicks. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box and will come with connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port. There is no information about the battery capacity of the device.
OnePlus Mini with these top class specifications if launched will be the real competitor for the likes of Sony Xperia Z Compact series smartphones. Although the company officially confirms nothing, we advise you to take this with a proverbial pinch of salt. Stay tuned for more updates in coming days.
