Earlier, we exclusively reported about a mid-range smartphone from Oppo called as Oppo A30 receiving the TENAA certification. Now, the Oppo A30 is currently listed on the company’s official website revealing complete details and hinting at the official launch soon. It is worth mentioning that the Oppo A30 is the exact clone in terms of the design and specifications to the popular OnePlus X smartphone that was launched back in October 2015 at a price tag of $249.
Coming to the specifications part, the Oppo A30 features a 5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD On-Cell display offering a pixel density of 441ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 laid on top of it for protection. Under the hood, it packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz clubbed with Adreno 330 GPU and is one of the major difference as the OnePlus X is powered by Snapdragon 801 quad-core SoC clocked at 2.3GHz. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
On the camera front, the device sports a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash and is also capable of 1080p video recording at 30fps. On the front, it has an 8MP snapper for selfie lovers when compared to OnePlus X that features a 5MP selfie shooter. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G-LTE, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and microUSB 2.0 port. It has 3GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion upto 128GB.
The Oppo A30 features beautiful glossy unibody design and feels premium in hand with a metallic frame on its sides. The handset comes backed by a 2525mAh battery that the company claims can easily take you through the day on a single charge. The dimensions of the smartphone 140 x 69 x 6.9 mm and weighs around 138 grams. Although the company has not revealed the pricing on their official website, we can expect it to be priced around $305. Recently, a new budget-friendly smartphone from Oppo called as Oppo A33c has received the TENAA certification revealing most of the details about the upcoming smartphone. As per the listing, the smartphone features 5-inch qHD display, 64-bit quad-core SoC, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 8MP rear camera, 5MP selfie snapper, 4G-LTE and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
