Oppo has been in the rumor rounds for a while now about the launch of its flagship smartphone Oppo Find 9 that is expected to come powered by all-new Snapdragon 820 SoC. Today, a new budget-friendly smartphone from the brand called as Oppo A33c has passed through TENAA certification revealing the major specifications and the design of the upcoming smartphone. The Oppo A33C will be the international variant of Oppo A33 that launched in China last year with similar specifications.
As per the TENAA listing, the Oppo A33c flaunts a the Oppo A33 comes with a 5-inch (960×540 pixels) qHD display with a pixel density of 220ppi. Under the hood, is packs unspecified 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, and we can expect it to come powered by same Snapdragon 410 SoC as seen on the Oppo A33. It has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion of memory upto 128GB. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Color OS 2.1.
On the camera part, the device will sport an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front snapper for video calling and perfect selfie images. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port with OTG support. The dimensions of the device measure 142.7 x 71.7 x 7.55 mm weighs around 146 grams and is currently listed in Gold color option. The company has confirmed none of the above details, so we advise you take this with a proverbial pinch of salt. To recall, Oppo has recently launched a smaller variant of the Oppo Mirror 5 called as Oppo Mirror 5 Lite in Thailand and is listed on the company’s official website priced at THB 5,990 (approx $168). The smartphone features 5-inch qHD display, MediaTek MT6582 quad-core SoC, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 8MP primary camera, 5MP front shooter and 2420mAh battery. The device sports premium looks with mirror like finish at the back of the unit and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
