Oppo A9x Announced with 6GB RAM & 48MP Camera

Oppo has silently announced its new mid-range device in the A series called as the Oppo A9x. This new smartphone will be the sibling of the recently launched Oppo A9 smartphone. The latest device will be available in Ice Jade White and Meteorite Black color option and is priced at 1999 Yuan. The Oppo A9x is already going for pre-order via Oppo Shop and will be going for sale from 21st of May in China. Furthermore, the device will be featuring a 3D gradient back giving it an elegant look.

Now talking about the specs of this smartphone, the Oppo A9x comes with a 6.53-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ display and is powered with a 12nm Octa Core MediaTek Helio P70 SoC coupled with 900Mhz ARM Mali-G72 Mp3 GPU and 6GB of RAM. The onboard storage of the device is limited to 128GB which can be extended further via microSD card slot up to 256GB. The device measures 162 mm x 76.1 mm x 8.3 mm and weighs 190 grams in weight.

The handset will be coming out of the box with the latest Android 9 Pie operating system with ColorOS 6 on top and might be getting further updates when available. This dual SIM variant will be coming with a fingerprint sensor on the back just below the LED flash. There is a 48MP main camera with LED flash on the rear with f/1.7 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor. For selfies, there is a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The device gets a 4020mAh battery on the back with VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology and is a dual 4G VoLTE variant that comes with Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, GPS, A-GPS, and few other connectivity options.
