Earlier, this Oppo announced its new F-series that will feature smartphones with more focus on design and camera experience. Recently, the company also launched the first smartphone in its new F-series called as Oppo F1 in Vietnam. As earlier teased, Oppo has today officially released the selfie-centric smartphone called as Oppo F1 in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 15,990 and will be available for purchase via leading online and offline channels
Coming to the specifications part, the Oppo F1 flaunts a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display with 294ppi as pixel density, 2.5D arc glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 laid on top of it for protection. Under the hood, it packs 64-bit Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz paired with Adreno 405 GPU for smooth performance of the device. The smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion upto 128GB.
On the camera cordon, the smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. On the front, it has an 8MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture, Beautify 3.0 and flash screen to capture crisp selfie images in any lighting conditions. The company also touts the smartphone as the selfie expert and will attract crazy selfie lovers. The smartphone comes with premium looks with all-metal unibody design and also has slim profile measuring just 7.25 mm at its thickest and feels light in hand weighing around 135 grams.
The device supports dual sim dual standby and includes standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 port. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Color OS 2.1 out of the box. The handset comes backed by a 2500mAh battery that the company claims can easily last for an entire day on a single charge and also supports VOOC flash charging technology for quick charging. The smartphone comes with “silk metal” back available in Gold and Rose Gold color options.
