Earlier, Gionee introduced its new F-series of smartphones that come with premium design and build quality. Today, yet another Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo has announced its new F-series with more focus on camera-centric devices for the international markets. Oppo F1 will be the first smartphone to be launched under the new F-series and if the rumors are to be believed the Oppo A53 that was recently launched in China will be renamed as Oppo F1 for the international markets.

As per the rumors, the Oppo F1 flaunts a 5.5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD display with 267ppi as pixel density and 2.5D arc glass laid on top of it. The device will come equipped with 64-bit Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage. It features hybrid sim slot that lets you use microSD card instead of the second sim. It will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Color OS 2.1 out of the box. The device sports a 13MP rear camera with ISOcell technology, LED flash and a 5MP front shooter for video chats and selfie lovers.
Connectivity options on the dual sim capable device include 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 port. The device is expected to sport all-metal unibody design and is very slim measuring just 7.43 mm thickness. The handset packs a 3075mAh battery and also supports VOOC Flash Charging technology. The Oppo A53 is priced at $277 in China, and we can expect the Oppo F1 to be priced around $300 in the international markets.
