The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Oppo has officially launched the Neo 5(2015)smartphone in the Indian market. The smartphone has been priced at Rs 9,990. Oppo has just officially announced the Neo 5 (2015) and the Neo 5s, last week.
The Oppo Neo 5 (2015) features a 4.5-inch (480×854 pixel) IPS display with a pixel density of 219ppi and Dragon Trail Glass protection. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor clubbed with Mali-400MP2 GPU. The dual-SIM dual-standby. The smartphone runs Color OS 2.0.1i based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The dual-SIM smartphone supports one Micro-SIM card and another Nano-SIM.
The smartphone is equipped with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera. The camera app have features such as easy screenshot capturing with three finger swipe, screen-off gestures, Beautify 3.0 image editing mode, double exposure for overlapping two images, Pure Image 2.0+ image creation engine, and double layer metallic structure. It features 8GB of built-in storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
On the connectivity front, the Oppo Neo 5 (2015) includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. The smartphone packs a 2000mAh non-removable battery, measures in at 131.9×65.5x8mm, and weighs 135 grams.
