Panasonic has recently launched a new mid-range smartphone in its Eluga series called as Panasonic Eluga Turbo in India. The device comes with a beautiful glossy unibody design and feels premium in hand with a metal frame around the sides. The Panasonic Eluga Turbo is priced at Rs. 10,999 comes in Blue color option and is available for purchase online exclusively via Snapdeal.
Coming to the specifications part, the Eluga Turbo flaunts a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display offering 294ppi as pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 laid on top of it for protection. Under the hood, it packs unspecified 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, and we can expect it to come powered by MediaTek MT6753 SoC. It supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
On the photographic section, the smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video chats and selfie lovers. The camera also supports 1080p resolution video recording at 30fps. The device has 3GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion. The 4G-LTE supported smartphone comes with basic connectivity options like 4G-LTE/3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0 port.
The smartphone is just 6.95 mm thick and also has ASAHI DragonTrail glass protection on the back for protection from scratches. The handset powers a 2350mAh battery that might be an issue as it has smaller capacity battery when compared to other devices. The Eluga Turbo will have to face tough competition from recently launched LeEco Le 1s and Lenovo Vibe K4 Note that come with even better specifications at the similar price tag.

It also comes equipped with Android-for-work support and also comes with the FitHome user interface exclusively designed by Panasonic, which is distinctive in nature and enables single thumb-flick access to applications on the home screen.
