Procedure to Remove Bloatware from Motorola Droid Turbo:
- Download the “Droid-Turbo-Block-Bloat-Ware.zip” package from here to your computer. Once downloaded, you need to extract the same to some folder in your computer.
- Now, you need to connect your device to the computer and open the extracted folder to open the Block Bloat Ware.bat file which is there in your computer.
- Once the file is opened, all you need to do is to just follow the on screen instructions to complete the process. Once done, the device will be rebooted. Once rebooted, all the apps will be gone and uninstalled. Just in case if you wish to disable any other app or remove the same, you need to navigate to the path Droid-Turbo-Block-Bloat-Ware/tools and press the shift key to right click and select the “”Open Command window here” and enter the below mentioned command’
Adb shell “pm block <package-name>”
Make sure that in above command, <package-name> is replaced with the corresponding app like com.imdb.mobi.
- Now, to unblock / exclude the app, you need to enter the below mentioned command;
Adb shell “pm unblock <package-name>”
Make sure that in above command, <package-name> is replaced with the corresponding app like com.imdb.mobi.
- Please note that the above 2 commands can be missed just in case if you wish to make it simple. It’s just for the advanced users.
