The Noida-based smartphone manufacturer, Ringing Bells today launched the world’s cheapest smartphone called as Freedom 251 priced at Rs. 251 in India. Along with this dirt cheap smartphone, the company has also launched the world’s most affordable 4G-LTE enabled smartphone called as Ringing Bell Smart 101 4G in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 2,999 (approx $43) and will be available for purchase via company’s official online store. At this price tag, the Smart 101 4G comes with impressive specifications that most of the companies fail to offer in their devices.
Talking about the specifications, the Smart 101 4G features a 5-inch (960×480 pixels) qHD IPS display and offers a pixel density of 220ppi. Under the hood, it comes equipped with the unknown quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage and microSD card slot for further expansion upto 32GB. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. It comes with standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi and microUSB 2.0 port.
On the photographic section, the smartphone sports an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and also supports 1080p video recording at 30fps.
