Pre Requisites:
Please note that there are only three list of pre requisites which you need to follow before you proceed to the instructions to root the phone in the next page.
- First up you need to ensure that you have create the backup of all the data which is there stored in your phone so that the same can be restored just in case if you lose any data. For your simplicity we have mentioned below some tips on how you can backup and restore the same.
SMS – Use “SMS Backup & Restore app”,
Contacts – Sync with the Gmail application,
Call Log – Call Log and Restore
Images, Songs, Videos, Files – Copy to internal / External SD Card,
APN and MMS Settings – Note down from the path “Applications > Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names”
- So, once you have taken the backup of the data you will now need to proceed to charge your phone to the minimum of at least 50% so as to just ensure that the phone is not turned Off in the process of the rooting.
- After this you also need to download drivers for HTC Amaze 4G in your computer and install the same in your computer. It’s important to install the drivers in your computer or else the rooting files won’t be supported.
- You need to ensure that the USB Debugging is enabled in the phone, the same can be done from the path of “Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging” and then ensure that the USB Debugging is ticked in the option.
