Guide to Root LG Revolution without Downgrading to any Firmware version:
- Download the Rooting package for LG Revolution in your computer and unzip the same. Unzip the same to get the below shown files. Please note that even if single file is missing, then you need to re download and extract the same.
- Now, open the file named “run” which is an executable file in your computer. Now, connect your device to the computer with the help of original USB cable and then press enter to start the process of rooting.
- It will take around 3 -4 minutes for rooting the device. Once the device is rooted, the device will be rebooted. Once you see the home screen, you can then remove the connected USB cable from computer.
Note: If your LG Revolution device doesn’t boot up or say if it hangs up on the LG Logo, then you will need to press the power button for 4 – 5 seconds and turn off the device so that it can be turned off and the above procedure will have to be repeated.
Once the device is rooted, you now need to download and install the “Super User” application from the Google PLAY Store. To check on whether the device has been rooted or not, download & install the “Root Checker” application from the Google PLAY Store. Open the app and check the same on whether the device has been rooted or not.
