Pre-requisites:
- As soon as the rooting process complete, all the data on the phone will be lost. So, before proceeding for the rooting process you need to provide some back up for the data. The data includes your messages, contacts, music files, and pictures. - The next thing to consider is making a note of APN & MMS settings. Once the rooting process completes, then the users cannot access the internet and MMS services until and unless they reconfigure it. So, in order to access those services you need to make a note of APN & MMS settings by following this path: “Applications > Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names”.
- Next up, users should have a computer or Laptop to apply this rooting process. Also make sure that the OS on your system should be of Windows 7/XP/Vista. The PC (or laptop) should have minimum of USB 2.0 support and ensure that you have ADMIN privileges. All the antivirus solutions and the firewalls on your system should be in OFF stage.
