We earlier reported that Samsung is working on its new Galaxy O series. The first devices under the new Galaxy O series would be Galaxy Grand On and the Grand Mega On (dubbed as Galaxy O5 and Galaxy O7 respectively). Earlier, we talked about Grand Mega On being certified by TENAA, and now the Grand On has also been spotted on the TENAA listing.
As per the TENAA listing, the upcoming Grand On carrying a model number SM-G5500 flaunts a 5-inch (720 x 1280pixels) HD display. It will come powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage with microSD card slot for further expansion upto 128GB.
The device sports an 8MP rear camera and on the front it has a 5MP shooter. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and connectivity options on the device include 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB port. A 2600mAh battery keeps the phone running, and its dimensions are 142 × 71.9 × 8.5mm, weighs 140 grams.
