Samsung Galaxy S2 GT I9100 – Steps to Install Alpha 7.0 ICS Android 4.0 Firmware

Ice Cream Sandwich LogoIt was Samsung Galaxy S GT I9000 which we saw in the last article on how to apply Alpha port of Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 and now in this article we will see on how you can apply the ICS Android 4.0 version for Galaxy S2 smartphone. Though it’s just an Alpha build most of the functionalities won’t be working but over the next coming days we are hopeful of seeing an all new beta version in which most of the functionalities will be working and will be one of the much better and usable build. We really appreciate the developers (gokhanmoral, Pete, Paradoxxx, chadouming, nebkat, Matri ak31, Coentje44, Tegrak and everybody..) of this ROM who have made it possible for providing the early ICS experience for S2 users

So, before proceeding you need to ensure that you are applying this ONLY for device which is dubbed as Samsung Galaxy S2 GT I9100. If you apply this to any other device then it may even BRICK your device partially / fully for which we should not be held responsible.

Since more than half of the functionalities doesn’t work in this firmware, this firmware is not advised for the normal users and should only be applied by the ADVANCED users.

  • Latest Android Market works

Things which Don’t Work:
