  • Before proceeding you need to ensure that you are on the XXKH3 version of firmware and also you need to root the same.   • Once you have downloaded the ICS Package 7.0 from the above downloads section to your computer, you now need to connect the phone to the computer using the USB cable so that you can then copy this downloaded “” zip file to your phone memory.
  • As soon as you place this file in your phone, you then need to unplug the USB cable and then simply turn Off the phone so that you can then enter into the recovery mode. The recovery mode can be entered by just holding down the Volume UP key and then press the Power ON button simultaneously to turn ON the device in the RECOVERY mode.

  • In the recovery mode, you need to choose the option of “install zip from sd card” after which you will get a list of files which are there in the phone. Out of that list you need to select the file which is named as “” with the help of Volume keys and Power button.
  • Once you select the file, the updation process starts and as soon as the process gets done, the device will either get restarted automatically or you will again see the recovery mode screen in your phone.

  • If the device restarts, you need to again turn Off the phone and enter into the recovery mode. The recovery mode can be entered by holding the Volume UP key, Press Center Key and then while holding the former keys, press the Power ON button simultaneously. In the recovery mode screen, you need to select “Wipe Data / factory reset” and “Wipe Cache Partition” which will clear off all the data which is stored in the phone.

  • Just in case if you land again in the recovery screen then you need to select the option of “ ++++ Go Back ++++ ” and choose the above mentioned options to clear and wipe data. After this you need to select the option of “reboot system now”.
