Since few weeks, the owners of Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge who used official Clear View cover complained about the scratches on the Gorilla Glass 4 protected display of the devices. Many of them posted the photos of the display on the forums and social networking sites.
The reason for scratches is the abrasive materials and hard debris which stayed between the screen and flap of the case. Along with the display, the home button is also getting affected for some of the users. Samsung acknowledged the problem and currently investigating the issue. Users also added that the company is planning a fix or compensation for the affected devices.
As per Samsung, the top layer of the Gorilla Glass on some of the devices is weak, which is because the scratches caused to the display. If there is any more information from Samsung, we will update through this post.
