Samsung launched the Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 smartphones earlier this year. Now, the company is said to be working on expanding its A series by launching the successors of Galaxy A3, A5, & A7 smartphones in the coming months. While there is no official word from the company about the devices, two new handsets with model numbers SM-A310 and SM-A710 have been passed through GFXBench listing.
According to GFXBench listing, the handset with model number SM-A310 will be the successor of the Galaxy A3 smartphone and will come with slightly better specifications than its predecessor. The smartphone sports a 4.7-inch HD display and will come powered by Exynos 7580 quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB built-in storage. The smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front shooter and will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
The smartphone with model number SM-A710 is alleged to be the successor of Galaxy A7 and will be a mid-range smartphone. The new handset will flaunt a 5.5-inch FHD display and will come powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. The device has 3GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage with microSD card slot for further expansion. The SM-A710 also has the same 13MP rear and 5MP front cameras and also runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
Recently, smartphones with model numbers SM-A310 and SM-A510 that are believed to be the successors of Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 has been imported to India from South Korea. Although nothing has been officially confirmed, we will keep you updated once we have any official news until then stay tuned!
