Earlier – Sony Xperia Z2 (codename Avatar) Specs Leaked Soon after Xperia Z1 Launch – Details – September 14, 2013

It was just a few days back when Sony announced the Sony Xperia Z1 Honami device at the IFA 2013 event in Berlin, and there are already a lot of leaked details and specifications of the Sony Xperia Z2 device, which is codenamed Avatar and the model number C770X is said to be leaked through one of the sources close to the Sony team and the first detail that we had got to know was that the Xperia Z2 would have the 5.2 inch IGZO Triluminuous Display with a 500ppi pixel density, which could easily beat the 468PPI of the HTC One which is the current best in the market.

The Xperia Z2 is said to be having a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 processor which would be bundled up with the 3GB of RAM, which only the Galaxy Note 3 has got as of now. The device would have the same camera which was introduced with the Xperia Z1, i.e. the 20.7 megapixel camera with the Sony G Lens and the 4K video recording, which should be again a feature inspired from the Note 3.

Sony Xperia Z2 Expected

The Android 4.4 KitKat which was just announced by Google, is what would be coming in the Xperia Z2, and finally, a battery of 3200 mAh is coming in. There’s a lot of features that we have seen in the Note 3, but we cannot say that Sony is just taking the inspiration from there, because that’s the minimum a user would expect from the high-end smartphone if it has to stay in the race in the market.

According to some of the sources, Sony has already started working on the successor of the Z1, and it would take a couple months for them to get things done, so we can expect something from the company during the CES 2014 event, that is to happen in Las Vegas.
